Returns are processed weekly, typically Fridays or Saturdays. At this time, our team will check in your return and, once approved, your refund will be issued. Please note, however, that your bank may take several days to process the payment back into your account. You will receive an email notifcation once the refund has been processed.

Yes. You can place an order as a guest with no obligation to create an account. We do recommend that you create an account, however, if you’d like to check your order history and have your shopping basket items and payment details saved for next time. It’s quick and easy to create an account.

There is only a short amount of time between when you place your order and when we start processing it. If you contact us straight away after ordering, via telephone at 413-594-6460, we may be able to cancel your order before it’s processed. Please see our returns policy for more details.

Orders that require shipping within the U.S. will be typically are delivered within 1 to 6 business days. Most orders ship from our warehouse located in Chicopee, MA. Orders not requiring freight shipment will ship via Fedex. Freight shipments typically have a longer transit time than standard ground shipments.  Please get in touch if your order hasn’t been delivered according to the expected timescales, and we will check your order status.

Yes, we will provide updates at every stage of your order, from the moment you place it, when it is shipped and delivery. In your delivery confirmation emails, you’ll receive a tracking reference which you can use to check the progress of your order online.

Eligible returns are accepted for products purchased within the last 30 days. You must call us to initiate a Return Authorization 800-820-6460.

You are responsible for return shipping costs.

Products MUST be in LIKE NEW Resalable condition.

You MUST have the ORIGINAL BOX and PACKAGING MATERIALS.

You MUST have all of the original accessories, manuals etc.

Your package should be INSURED for the FULL VALUE for your protection during return shipping.

Products that arrive not in original packaging, missing accessories, without a Return Authorization or damaged will be refused. Refunds are credited using the original payment method and they are usually credited within 10-15 business days upon receipt of your return.

Return & Exchange Limits
While we completely understand some products just don't fit the build or hit the mark we have a limit of 2 returns or exchanges per household in a 12 month period.

Order Cancellations
If your order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. Once your order has left our warehouse it cannot be cancelled. If you would like to setup a return on this item please call us at 800-820-6460 and request a Return Authorization. Do not refuse your order as you will then be subject to shipping cost both ways.

If you wish to cancel an order placed during business hours, please contact us by phone by 3PM EDT on the same business day your order was placed. Any cancellation requests received after this time will be examined on a case-by-case basis. We offer no guarantee that your order will be able to be canceled after this time period. If your order is placed outside of business hours, you must contact us by 1PM EDT on the following business day. Again, cancellation requests submitted outside this time period are NOT guaranteed, and are examined case-by-case.

All shipping, processes and freight charges are non refundable.

Refused Shipments
Orders that are refused at the time of delivery are subject to the original and return shipping fees unless otherwise approved by Safe & Sound.

Return Policy Exclusions

Items marked as FINAL SALE, USED TRADE-IN are nonreturnable

Vehicle specific Car Audio/Video products such as wire harnesses, dash kits, interfaces and other installed components are nonreturnable once opened. Vinyl Albums are non-returnable. Items such as phono cartridges, record brushes, alignment tools and cleaners are nonreturnable Special order, non stocking items are nonreturnable

In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or faulty, please take photos of the product in question and email our customer service team via orders@safeandsoundhq.com with the details. This applies for ALL orders including those marked as "Final Sale". We’ll respond within 48 hours.

The numbers represent the number of speaker channels and subwoofers the A/V receiver supports. For example, a 7.2 channel A/V receiver will power up to 7 speakers and up to 2 subwoofers. If an A/V receiver supports Dolby Atmos, the channels may read out 7.2.4. In this format, once again 7 speakers are supported, along with up to 2 subwoofers. In addition, 4 Dolby Atmos height channels are supported for a total of 11 total speakers and 2 total subwoofers. 

You can connect a powered subwoofer using a single RCA cable from the receiver’s SUB OUT / LFE jack to the subwoofer’s LINE IN. If the A/V receiver has a single SUB OUT and you wish to connect 2 subwoofers, you can do so using a RCA Y-splitter adapter.

If an A/V receiver lists a wattage rating of 150 watts at 8 ohms, this is how much power or wattage will be in total when only the main 2 channels are connected (front left and right speakers). The more speakers that are connected to the A/V receiver, the total wattage per speaker will drop as they all share the same power supply. Typically, with all speakers being played simultaneously, output in wattage to each speaker is around 60-70% of the 2 channel rating.

We recommend using banana connectors to connect to your A/V receiver if it has binding posts. This will provide a secure and reliable connection.

If an A/V receiver supports 2 zones, this means that addition to your main zone, you can connect a second stereo zone typically in another room or outdoors. You can play two different source of music for each zone or play the same source simultaneously for both zones. On the rear panel of the A/V receiver, you will see "Assignable" labels for the terminals you will be able to connect zone 2 speakers to and in the A/V receiver setup menu, you will be able to assign them.
