The MartinLogan USR51 is a high-performance, 5.1-channel networked AV receiver engineered to deliver world-class processing and size-defying power in an ultra-slim chassis designed to seamlessly disappear behind modern flat-panel displays or within a variety of cabinetry.
Ultra-Slim Performance
Despite low-profile speaker solutions becoming increasingly popular, the electronics required to power them have essentially remained full size. The USR51 is a fresh approach to the modern AV Receiver, housing audiophile-grade processing and power within a sleek, slim footprint, delivering incredible performance without the space requirements that full-size components demand.
In partnership with Anthem, MartinLogan is proud to bring sophisticated digital processing, powerful room correction, and practical custom-fit installation capabilities to even the most space-constrained installations.
Ultra-Slim Form Factor
At a fraction of the physical size of traditional AVRs, the USR51 delivers up to 5 channels of power (92 Watts per channel into 4 Ohms or 50 Watts per channel into 8 Ohms), delivering clear, dynamic sound from a virtually invisible chassis.
ARC® Genesis Room Correction
Includes the full suite of award-winning Anthem Room Correction technology, rapidly calibrating system performance through a series of in-room measurements to optimize playback in any environment. It addresses the acoustic challenges of modern living spaces in minutes, ensuring peak performance by minimizing the harmful effects of hard surfaces, awkward layouts, and more.
Native High-Res Streaming
Features built-in support for the latest version of Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, and Bluetooth, enabling listeners to effortlessly stream high-fidelity audio.
Seamless Integration
With robust IP and IR support, the options are nearly limitless. Simply use the included IR remote or the Anthem Remote App (iOS or Android) to fully control the unit out of the box, or for more advanced installations, USR51 is fully compatible with major control and automation systems like Savant, Control4, URC, Crestron, RTI, Elan, AVA, and Josh.ai.
Concealed Performance
The USR51 is the perfect companion for MartinLogan’s low-profile Motion® SLM Series, Motion Compact Series (2i/4i/6i/8i), Discrete Cinema Series, or with any MartinLogan in-wall or in-ceiling speakers for the ultimate low-profile sound solution.
The most popular ways to conceal USR51:
Behind the TV
Use the included bracket to mount it directly to the VESA pattern on the back of a TV, inside of an In-Wall Media Box, or even directly to the wall itself for a completely invisible installation.
In Furniture
Thanks to its compact footprint, USR51 can fit inside many pieces of furniture that full-size receivers can’t. The included IR repeater or Remote App Compatibility allows full control without requiring line-of-site.
In a Rack
USR51 only takes up 1U of rack space when used with the optional rack mount kit (sold separately).
Bridge The Complexity Gap
By using the TV for input switching, the USR51 is designed to easily integrate into your life and effectively operate invisibly to the user. With a choice of eARC, HDMI, Optical, or Analog inputs, the intent is for the system to function as easily as it did before the USR51 was installed. If you were used to selecting sources and controlling volume through the TV before, that’s how it can continue to work after installation, simplifying the learning curve for a seamless transition from TV speakers to surround sound. Of course, the USR51 also comes with its own remote and is fully compatible with a variety of third-party control platforms, as well as the Anthem Remote Control app, if more advanced solutions are desired.
WebUI and App Control
The USR51 is designed without an on-screen display (OSD), so on-screen visuals behave the same as they always have. The TV’s OSD can display the volume level as it did before, but sound now runs through the USR51 rather than the TV’s built-in speakers. Since detailed settings are adjusted within the WebUI or Control App, there are no on-screen menus to distract others while you fine-tune settings.
