First, I have several high current amplifiers and toroidal transformers are a must for me. I researched the build quality and felt this was a great partner to the 50n cd streamer. Love the look of the Silver and easy pairing of remote control functions. Excellent service and pricing from Safe and Sound made this an easy decision.

This was a substantial upgrade to the AVR. I've always enjoyed the Marantz "sound" and this has not disappointed. The overall improvement in clarity, sound stage, very low noise floor, and quality build has been a signnificant improvement to my hi-fi system. It's an attractive integrated amp as well.

I really enjoyed my Martin Logan Motion 40i tower speakers, but I learned an important lesson about system matching and room size.
The Folded Motion tweeter is absolutely exceptional — detailed, airy, and smooth without ever sounding harsh. It’s one of the most impressive high-frequency presentations I’ve heard at this price point and was a major reason I was drawn to the Motion series.
In my room, however, the 40i turned out to be more speaker than the space could comfortably handle. The midrange energy felt a bit too forward for my room volume, and the bass was slightly bloomy, even with careful placement. None of this is a knock on the speaker’s quality — it was more about scale and room interaction than performance.
I eventually moved to the Motion 20 towers, which proved to be a much better match for my space. The overall balance snapped into place: cleaner low end, more natural midrange presence, and the same wonderful tweeter performance I loved in the 40i. With a bit of fine-tuning using the parametric EQ on my RME ADI-2 DAC to smooth a typical room-related bass bump, the system now sounds extremely well integrated and controlled.
If you have a medium-to-large room, the 40i can be fantastic. But in smaller or more acoustically lively spaces, the Motion 20 may actually deliver the more accurate and satisfying result. Matching speaker size to room size really matters.
Not one for a lot of words… WOW I bought as an upgrade to PrimaLuna EVO300 integrated, Klipsch Forte IV, Thorens TD 1600 with Ortofon 2M Bronze. Cleaned up the sound; crisp, polished but warm. Amazing how this addition to my simple set up had such an impact on the sound quality.
Superb sound quality. Excellent imaging and separation. I hear things from cds that I've listened to for years. It's going to force me to upgrade my dac. Love the flip lid and time saving top loading.

I upgraded from a Marantz 7015 to the Marantz Cinema 40. I am very happy with my purchase.
Absolutely impressed with the Marantz AV7706. From the wide and revealing soundstage of standard redbook CDs to the massive sound of surround sound movies via its eARC HDMI input, it represents one of the best values in high end audio. The addition of the VS3003 8K HDMI Switcher was icing on the cake that will keep the processor relevant for years to come.
I am still learning my Eversolo DMP A8. I love the overall look. The app with screen capture is sleek. Screen in is on your phone in front of your face. The clarity of its output sounds awesome. I have more to learn but I am super pleased. Thank you Safe and Sound. Will continue to be a customer in the future!!!

It is a nice looking unit that gives off a vibe of quality. The sound is excellent to me, though my system. Playing SACDs, the music and vocals are crisp and intricate. You can hear everything with nothing harsh, just warm and precise.

Easy installation sound excellent
Great experience working with Safe and Sound by phone. I went back and forth multiple times between separate amplifier/speaker setup but ultimately settled on these JBL 4329p speakers which are now discontinued. Speakers themselves work flawlessly and met my expectations based on online reviews. Well packed and no damage to the original packaging.
Extremely pleased so far. It easily drives my Magnepans which others have struggled to do well.

Purchased these 2 x 0.05 meter Kimber interconnect cables to replace the vintage 1.0 meter vintage pair of Monster Cable to connect the preamp 1 outputs of my Marantz NR1200 Network Receiver to the power in inputs of my Marantz Model 50 integrated amp. This was done to align with proper electronics engineering principles -keeping the shortest signal path length (lower impedance, capacitance & inductance) for peace of mind. Plus you guys had the lowest price which made the upgrade a no brainer.
