Returns are processed weekly, typically Fridays or Saturdays. At this time, our team will check in your return and, once approved, your refund will be issued. Please note, however, that your bank may take several days to process the payment back into your account. You will receive an email notifcation once the refund has been processed.

Yes. You can place an order as a guest with no obligation to create an account. We do recommend that you create an account, however, if you’d like to check your order history and have your shopping basket items and payment details saved for next time. It’s quick and easy to create an account.

If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch at orders@safeandsoundhq.com just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.

There is only a short amount of time between when you place your order and when we start processing it. If you contact us straight away after ordering, via telephone at 413-594-6460, we may be able to cancel your order before it’s processed. Please see our returns policy for more details.

Sadly, we’re unable to modify your order once we’ve started processing it. If you need to order a greater quantity or an additional product, please place a new order online or simply reach out to our team as soon as possible so we can best assist 413-594-6460

Orders that require shipping within the U.S. will be typically are delivered within 1 to 6 business days. Most orders ship from our warehouse located in Chicopee, MA. Orders not requiring freight shipment will ship via Fedex. Freight shipments typically have a longer transit time than standard ground shipments.  Please get in touch if your order hasn’t been delivered according to the expected timescales, and we will check your order status.

We offer FREE Shipping on ALL orders over $99 with the following exceptions:

Yes, we will provide updates at every stage of your order, from the moment you place it, when it is shipped and delivery. In your delivery confirmation emails, you’ll receive a tracking reference which you can use to check the progress of your order online.

Eligible returns are accepted for products purchased within the last 30 days. You must call us to initiate a Return Authorization 800-820-6460.

You are responsible for return shipping costs.

Products MUST be in LIKE NEW Resalable condition.

You MUST have the ORIGINAL BOX and PACKAGING MATERIALS.

You MUST have all of the original accessories, manuals etc.

Your package should be INSURED for the FULL VALUE for your protection during return shipping.

Products that arrive not in original packaging, missing accessories, without a Return Authorization or damaged will be refused. Refunds are credited using the original payment method and they are usually credited within 10-15 business days upon receipt of your return.

Return & Exchange Limits
While we completely understand some products just don't fit the build or hit the mark we have a limit of 2 returns or exchanges per household in a 12 month period.

Order Cancellations
If your order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. Once your order has left our warehouse it cannot be cancelled. If you would like to setup a return on this item please call us at 800-820-6460 and request a Return Authorization. Do not refuse your order as you will then be subject to shipping cost both ways.

If you wish to cancel an order placed during business hours, please contact us by phone by 3PM EDT on the same business day your order was placed. Any cancellation requests received after this time will be examined on a case-by-case basis. We offer no guarantee that your order will be able to be canceled after this time period. If your order is placed outside of business hours, you must contact us by 1PM EDT on the following business day. Again, cancellation requests submitted outside this time period are NOT guaranteed, and are examined case-by-case.

All shipping, processes and freight charges are non refundable.

Orders that are refused at the time of delivery are subject to the original and return shipping fees unless otherwise approved by Safe & Sound.

Items marked as FINAL SALE, USED TRADE-IN are nonreturnable

Vehicle specific Car Audio/Video products such as wire harnesses, dash kits, interfaces and other installed components are nonreturnable once opened. Vinyl Albums are non-returnable. Items such as phono cartridges, record brushes, alignment tools and cleaners are nonreturnable Special order, non stocking items are nonreturnable

In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or faulty, please take photos of the product in question and email our customer service team via orders@safeandsoundhq.com with the details. This applies for ALL orders including those marked as "Final Sale". We’ll respond within 48 hours.

Many streamers also offer advanced DACs (digital-to-analog converters) and stable wired connections for audiophile-grade performance.

Some music streamers include a built-in DAC that converts digital music into analog sound ready for your amplifier. Others, often referred to as a streamer transport, output a digital signal only. A streamer transport is ideal if you already own a high-end DAC.

Absolutely. Nearly all music streamers include a companion app that lets you browse music, create playlists, and adjust playback right from your smartphone or tablet. Some also work with voice assistants like Alexa or Google Assistant.

Yes. Most streamers can access music stored on a NAS drive, USB stick, or local network. Supported formats typically include MP3, FLAC, WAV, AIFF, and DSD for high-resolution playback.

To connect a music streamer to an amp or receiver, use analog RCA cables for analog outputs or digital cables (optical, coaxial, or HDMI) for digital outputs, connecting the streamer's outputs to corresponding inputs on your amplifier or receiver. For network connection, wirelessly connect the streamer to your home Wi-Fi or use an Ethernet cable for a wired, more stable link.

An integrated amplifier combines a preamplifier and a power amplifier in a single chassis. The preamplifier section handles source selection, volume control, and sometimes tone control. The power amplifier section boosts the signal enough to drive speakers. An integrated amplifier is a convenient all-in-one solution for most 2 channel home audio systems.

Certain integrated amplifiers can power 2 pairs of speakers at the same time, they would need to have a total of 2 pairs of speaker terminals, typically labeled "Speaker A" and "Speaker B". In addition, the integrated amp would need to allow Speaker A+B mode. With this setting enabled, you will be able to power 2 pairs of speakers simultaneously. It is highly recommended that both pairs of speakers are 8 ohms impedance since the speaker terminals are run in parallel and therefore the impedance will drop from 8 ohms to 4 ohms if running both pairs at once. 

Yes, the majority of integrated amplifiers have a built-in phono stage and this is labeled in the rear panel as "Phono".

Yes, the subwoofer would need to be a powered subwoofer and many integrated amps have a pre-out or sub-out RCA connection to connect a powered subwoofer. If there is no sub-out or pre-out, some subs can use high-level (speaker) inputs directly from the amp’s outputs. With this method, volume control will be adjusted by using the knobs on the subwoofer itself. The crossover settings would also be adjusted using the low pass filter know on the subwoofer.

Integrated amplifiers have several different types of amplifiers classes. Class A provides the best overall sound quality however the least efficient and as a result will run hot. Class AB is the most common amplifier class which is a middle ground with great quality sound but more efficient, runs on the warm side. Class D is the most efficient class of amps, this runs the coolest and is an excellent option for lower impedance and lower sensitivity speakers.
