• Carbon Aerocore drivers — MartinLogan specifies new carbon-composite drivers in the Depths for improved stiffness-to-mass and cleaner pistonic motion at deep frequencies. That means less breakup and more accurate low-end detail compared with older aluminum designs. 

• Huge class-D amplification — the Depth 212 is rated at roughly 2,200 W dynamic peak (1,100 W RMS) while the 215 uses dual amps for about 4,400 W dynamic peak (2,200 W RMS). Those power reserves let the subs control long excursions with minimal distortion and extraordinary headroom. 

• Advanced DSP (64-bit / high-speed engine) — Martin Logan built a modern DSP engine into Depth that actively monitors and optimizes driver output in real time (reducing distortion, improving transient response and system linearity). In short: smarter control than earlier BalancedForce models.

Which model is right for me?
