Bowers & Wilkins has once again raised the bar for studio-grade performance with the 801 D4 Abbey Road Limited Edition—a stunning tribute to 45 years of audio excellence shared with London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios.

Since 1980, Abbey Road engineers have relied on Bowers & Wilkins 800 Series monitors. From the original 801 to today’s D4, this relationship shaped control‑room sound standards. The Abbey Road edition speakers signifies a relationship 5 decades long with only a total of 140 total pairs in production.

The Abbey Road Edition 801 D4 is internally identical to the flagship 801 D4 Signature speakers. Both feature a diamond-dome tweeter, Continuum™ midrange in a Turbine Head, and dual 10″ Aerofoil bass drivers

You also can expect the same premium construction which features Biomimetic Suspension, anti-resonance plugs, curved ‘reverse-wrap’ cabinet design, and a reinforced aluminum spine and top plate—all hallmarks of the D4 generation.

The aesthetics of the Abbey Road edition is what really sets them off. Vintage walnut veneer finish mirrors the iconic Abbey Road wooden interiors with Connolly red leather accents to depict the red chairs inside the studio. To distinguish their exclusivity, each pairs comes with a discreet numbered plaque.
